Expanded recreation facilities improved by the
capture of local run-off.

By tapping into two different funding sources, the City was able to update the aging sports fields and simultaneously improve water quality. A new synthetic turf soccer field along with the traditional baseball, softball and basketball facilities support a full range of local neighborhood teams. The bioswale running between the outfields cleans the first flush running off the ball fields and parking areas, and contains the 25-year storm.
